Diane Ord

Diane Ord has spent over 35 years working within the health & social care sector – statutory and third sector.  During that time she has  experienced a lot of movement, deployment and changes to service provision and budgets.   She has been a key figure and well-kent face in recovery communities in Aberdeenshire for over 15 years.  In 2025, Diane graduated with a MSc Substance Use from the University of Stirling.  Her focus, on embarking on this post-graduate degree was ‘to gain further knowledge and understanding behind a grassroots organisation primarily driven by people within the community’. 

Lee Gall

Lee Gall is a well-known figure within the Aberdeenshire Recovery Community.  A dedicated and enthusiastic volunteer and supporter, Lee has been instrumental in getting ACR off the ground and continues to bring her energy and wisdom to the groups work especially around the Aberdeenshire Wellbeing Hub.

John Bolland

John Bolland is an Aberdeenshire community member in active recovery.  John has been a passionate recovery activist and organiser in Aberdeenshire for many years and was Vice Chair of Aberdeenshire ADP between 2022 and 2024. 

With extensive experience in management, planning and organisational development gained through three decades in the oil & gas industry, John offers organisational and communication skills on a voluntary basis as well as his personal lived experience of substance use in the North East.

Brenda Duguid

Brenda Duguid has been active in Aberdeenshire’s Recovery Community for a decade, facilitating groups and helping steer community development though involvement in Community Forums.  She has led and facilitated MRM groups in Inverurie and Kemnay as well as supporting recovery in Insch and Strathbogie.
